The Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) Advisory Group was convened by PCMCH to recommend actions and priorities to advance culturally safe and appropriate, accessible and equitable healthcare services across Ontario’s reproductive and child health system – for consideration by both PCMCH and the sector. The group’s final recommendations, tabled to PCMCH’s Governing Council in November 2021, are an important piece of PCMCH’s broader efforts to develop and enhance the reproductive and child health system so that health equity, inclusion and diversity are more fully embedded within the various layers and components.
