Like the rest of Canada, PCMCH is saddened by the discovery of the bodies of 215 Indigenous children on the site of a former Residential School in Kamloops, BC. As an organization working to ensure access to maternal and pediatric healthcare for all Ontarians, we recognize that Indigenous people often experience inequity within the healthcare system. We know there is much harm to overcome and much to learn from Indigenous leaders and organizations if we are to ensure a very different future.
