The Ontario Paediatric Bariatric Network (OPBN) aims to identify priorities and recommend strategies for the achievement of a coordinated system of services for children and youth who are overweight or obese, delivered in both community and hospital settings and sensitive to urban, rural, and remote settings. The OPBN was established in 2014 and is comprised of representation from each of the eleven established paeditaric bariatric programs, along with representation from other healthcare organizations, the Local Health Integration Networks, the Provincial Council for Maternal and Child Health and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
